Washing Resin Prints
We recommend using a multi-bath setup when cleaning prints. This helps make your IPA last longer and gives you cleaner looking results. We personally like using a 3 bath setup – Dirty, Mostly Clean, Crystal Clear, but you can also simply use one dirty bath and one clean bath (or clean rinse).

How to Wash Resin Prints
After removing the prints from the build plate,
1. Gently wash the minis in the Dirty bath.
This step removes the majority of excess resin leftover on the minis.
2. Gently wash the minis in the Mostly Clean bath.
This step removes the dirty IPA from the minis.
3. Gently wash the minis in the Crystal Clear bath.
This step helps remove any remaining residue from the minis.
Using a wash and cure machine? We still recommend using the multi-bath approach.

Tips
- Use 90% or greater Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA)
- Do not let your prints sit in IPA for long periods of time. On average, 5-10 minutes of total wash time is enough.
- Water washable resins still recommend a final wash in 90% or greater IPA.
- Some people like to wash their prints still attached to the build plate, but we do not recommend this method. Removing the prints and wiping down the build plate separately will make your IPA last longer.
